I got the chance to savor some tennis matches before going back to work. Well, there aren’t much television programs to watch since it was holy week. Believe it or not, I tried reflecting and fasting for the whole week but gave on on the fourth day because I realized that an entire week is not enough for all my transgressions and deliberate disobediences to the known will of the Lord Almighty.

I was kinda hopin’ that Mardy Fish was the one holding that fish trophy instead of Nole. The American gave an amazing performance and it would really make a good sports headline- okay, that’s really tacky… hehehe!

• I’m on a forced sabbatical leave.  I’m not even sure if that term is considered legally correct under the labor code of this third world country.  I’m just trying to make it sound good when people ask me why I’m not going to work for a more than a week now.  You see, I got fired and was re-hired by the same company, weird ei? Well, I’m not going to blab about that just yet because it may further complicate things for my much awaited comeback.
• I have plenty of time but not a single centavo to spend. My last salary is being strecthed like a P250 pair of jeans, made in China that you can buy in Divisoria ( I got one and it is awesome, btw). My frugality has deeply affected my social life. I can’t even go to Market, Market! and buy my ulitmate favorite filipino delicacy, “napolones” … how sad.
• I am making myself productive during this career hiatus. I’ve accomplished major household chores like re-arranging furnitures and cleaning the kitchen which hasn’t been done by any of the members of the family since July of ‘07.  You could just imagine the molds and mildews between those tiles, it’s like another ecosystem is growing on it. I’m also maximizing the money that I pay for cable television and taking advantage of the all day unlitxt from Globe, texting cheezy quotes to my peeps. I am fully aware that some of them are totally exasperated by it…hehe! So if you are looking for some annoyance in your life and you want to receive those inspirational/bullcrap quotes 10 times a day, you can email me your Globe cellphone number para tight tayo! Oh, I met someone who was part of that commercial of KC Concepcion for Globe. “Bitch is really gorgeous”, he said. I love her!
