desperately seeking

If you have nothing else to do at home after your work as a copy + paste specialist and you find Kris Aquino too annoying to watch on a rainy afternoon (even his male counterpart on the other channel) and you feel that you have watch all the internet pornography available in world wide web (well, except those premium sites, haha!) you think of a whole bunch of things especially about your future and you’ll come to a point that you’ll get anxious and then suddenly freak out! And then you’ll light your 11th Marlboro lights of the day and then the 12th and the 13th until your throat and upper back aches. Geez! I should really quit that nasty habit. On your way to your room to finish the book you’re currently reading, you glance at your reflection in the huge mirror and check if you have lost some weight and open the closet and grab your size 30 Levi’s jeans already fits your hefty thighs and just be disappointed because after almost three weeks of busting your ass on the stationary bike and starving yourself you still cannot see the results. And then you lay on your bed, turn on your i-Pod and listen to Newton Faulkner’s, “Gone In The Morning” tirelessly. Your mind again drifts off to that horrific place called the future.

Japan Pan Pacific Tennis

In the absence of the glamazonic Maria Sharapova, (still suffering from a torn rotator cuff ) sizzling hawt younger swistah of Marat Safin, Dinara Safina has temporarily replaced Masha as “My favorite Russian”. This savagely fierce tennis player won her 4th title of the year in Tokyo and now the highest ranking Russian Player in the world…nays!

  • Starving myself and waking up at 4am every morning to do my cardio.
  • Watching that late night buffet of men called Survivor Philippines.
  • “Details Of The Fabric” by Jason Mraz and James Morrison is a one m-effin’ awesome track from Mr. A-Z’s new album “We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things”
  • The Killers is currently recording their new album and their new single will be released later this month. Its about time, I miss my Brandon Flowers.
  • I think I’m spending too much money on shoes. Grrrr!
  • Looking for work overseas. Any job as long as it pays a lot of cold cash.

Portishead’s “The Rip”

Wild, white horses
They will take me away
And the tenderness I feel
Will send the dark underneath
Will I follow?

raja’s mojo is back!!!

I am so relieved that Roger Federer won the last Grandslam of the tennis season. That only means that he is still capable of winning major tournaments and can reclaim the top spot from his numero uno nemesis, Rafael Nadal. This is his fifth straight US Open title and 13th Grandslam crown. Congrats Raja! 2 more to kick Pete’s hairy ass on top.

Are you excited as I am?

It could be be the whole vampire theme and the magnificent beauty of Edward and the brawn features of Emmet that I am now freakishly obsessed with this saga.  I think I felt the same way during the mid ninetees when I was also hooked to Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles and incessantly daydream about Lestat and Armand (they immediately replaced Devon Sawa and Jonathan Taylor Thomas as the leading characters of my daily illussions during my 2nd Year Araling Panlipunan class).  And if you have noticed, everytime you are reading or even watching stories about vampires, you will surely have the feeling that you want to be an immortal creature just like them.

I hope it will have a simultaneous release here in the Philippines and the US (or maybe a few days earlier here) I just hate the feeling of anticipation for a movie you’ve been dying to watch and you’ll hear other people’s disparaging comments about it because they were lucky enough to have seen it first. It just ruins everything…grrr! Basta! I cannot effin’ wait!

he ain’t movin’

I just had a disastrous saturday night and I am still recuperating from all the hapless events happened last April 30, 2008.

In the meantime, I’ll just listen to my currrent favorite song, “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved” by Irish band, The Script.

Enjoy this video and hope y’all have a great week!
